A heat shrink termination kit insulates, seals, and terminates medium-voltage power cables at equipment such as switchgear, transformers, and other electrical installations. It helps maintain electrical insulation while protecting the cable end from moisture and environmental exposure.
Select a kit based on the cable voltage, cable type (single-core or three-core), conductor size, armouring, insulation type, and whether the installation is indoors or outdoors. Always ensure compatibility with the cable manufacturer's specifications.
Indoor termination kits are designed for installations protected from weather. Outdoor kits include additional weather-resistant insulation and sealing components to withstand UV exposure, rain, and other environmental conditions.
Axis heat shrink termination kits are available for medium-voltage cable systems from 11 kV to 33 kV, with configurations for both single-core and three-core cables.
